Halo Live AV

HALO AV is the staging of Bruma’s next album, in which sound and image interrelate, creating a unique audiovisual universe through reactive audio imaging software. Bruma explores the concept of HALO by observing how the times we live in have turned everyday reality into a secondary and devalued object, in favor of an idealized reality in which every moment is apparently transcendent and full of meaning.

We add to each experience a halo of positivity, success and relevance that makes it shine in front of the observing world, while off-screen we continue to have the same imperfections, doubts and needs that human beings have always had. We live both in reality and in the HALO, and this double life generates stress and suffering which, due to its unconscious origin, appears to us as ethereal and mysterious. The way to overcome this toxic dichotomy is to let go of the HALO, stop seeing the world from an idealizing fantasy, and learn to live accepting our limitations, adjusting to reality.

Bruma uses this starting point to create an audiovisual universe around the HALO that surrounds our gaze, trying to generate in the viewer a reflection on the tyranny of forced idealization to which capitalist society subjects us day after day.
