Thanks to the Veranos de la Villa, Madrid becomes a great festival that includes a varied programme at numerous venues. In line with the last edition, the spaces will be particularly important. The centrally located venues are joined by more peripheral ones in a bid to rediscover the urban territory and turn the whole city into one big culture festival this summer, with over ninety artistic proposals.

This initiative is able to reach out to the city’s 21 districts in a bid to bring culture to all of the citizens, all ages and all the neighbourhoods where this type of proposals could not be traditionally enjoyed. The festival’s cultural proposal is extremely diverse in terms of genres, disciplines and styles. Its programme, which spans over more than two months, includes concerts, magic, film, circus, sport, theatre, dance and unprecedented participative activities in Madrid, which take place at numerous venues throughout Madrid, with the aim of rediscovering the urban territory.
This is the case of the most popular and traditional games, the possibility of listening to an electronic concert under the water, enjoying firework displays during the day or dancing salsa accompanied by the best Latin bands, among other activities.

Popular, classic, jazz, electronic, flamenco music, sport, circus, dance, meetings and popular parties bring together the proposals of various well known artists on the international scene. It is a cultural offer that is committed to accessibility, providing free access to the activities for the public.
